I always make a list for myself what to tape during the weekend. I thought that it could be a good idea to post it here and that others could post what's on too. Don't forget that everything on my list is GMT1.

By no means is this complete. Its just what I will be watching or taping. For me the highlight of the weekend will be ETC. They are running the Salzburgring and its one of my favorite circuits in the world. Also its a surprise that GP2 is back on Eurosport. But they just continue where they left off with probably the second race being only highlights.

08.00-09.35 F1 FP2 DSF

Saturday

Sunday

11.30-12.00 GP2 Asia R2 Eurosport
12.00-12.30 ETC R1 Eurosport
13.30-15.30 FIA GT DSF

I used to use a private Google Calendar link, but I haven't used it in a while.

Link is here: http://www.google.com/calendar/embed?sr ... 9801773f4d

I know, nothing to see there, but I still need to fill everything in.

Perhaps I should, since I keep forgetting about recording stuff :P

Eurosport back to their old antics. They had GP2 Sprint in the programming for 11.30 till 12.00. It could have fit because the sprint race normally is just over 30 minutes. They started showing it a bit early, about four minutes before half (before that they were showing a rerun of 250cc which was live just a couple of hours ago). Then after two laps of the 23 complete they went to commercials. At 11.34 they came back with only 12 laps left. So 9 were cut out while they still had 26 minutes left, argh!

Okay, the race finished three minutes before 12 so they were correct. Still why don´t cut first four laps or so and then later in the race another couple of laps. Its hard to follow the race when immediately half is cut out.

Not everyone is interested in Formula 1, or has access to all of those channels.

Indeed, I only have RTL7. And I don't watch the rubbish pre-race show so there's only about one hour and 20 minutes of coverage, if you don't count all the adverts. Forgot that there's free practice tomorrow on DSF, will be taping that too.

And I was aiming at the variety of series. And just wait for next year. There's one weekend in late August or early September that is packed with series: F1, Sprint Cup, Nationwide, IRL, WTCC, BTCC, DTM, MotoGP and God knows what else. That will be crazy.

Very good news, MotorsTV will be showing Macau delayed on the Sunday after the event. It will be on from 15.00 till 18.45 with first the Motorcycle GP, then F3 qualifying followed by the main event. Last but not least there's the GT Cup. Add WTCC on Eurosport and it will be one helluva weekend.

Quite an interesting weekend. Time for me to catch up on all the American motorcycle stuff and then onto Macau. People can say what they want about Motors. But they keep broadcasting the stuff that's not on TV anywhere else. It was the channel that introduced me to V8's and Busch in 2001 and later on to LMES and ALMS. Great channel!

Saturday
18.05-19.00 GT4 YIR MotorsTV
21.00-22.25 AMA Xtreme YIR MotorsTV
22.25-23.50 AMA Supersport YIR MotorsTV

Sunday
00.45-01.15 WTCC Macau Warm Up Eurosport
05.00-05.45 WTCC Macau R1 Eurosport
05.45-07.00 WTCC Macau R2 Eurosport
06.30-09.00 NNS Homestead NASN
15.00-16.00 Macau Motorcycles MotorsTV
16.00-17.00 Macau F3 Qualifying MotorsTV
17.00-18.00 Macau F3 MotorsTV
18.00-19.00 Macau GT MotorsTV
21.00-23.50 AMA Superbikes YIR MotorsTV
