I thought this was a pretty good idea. Whenever you find a great/funny/interesting motorsport quote post it in here.

NASCAR driver Tony Stewart said this in his weekly talk show on Sirius satellite radio.

"I promise you this and I promise the race fans this: The next time that I hear Carl Edwards tell me that he's going to make me bleed he better be ready to do it right then and there. Straight up," Stewart said. "I don't care what the fine is from NASCAR. I've got $50,000 saved.

This week I found a great Kosuke Matsuura quote. I read it in the Dutch RTL GP Magazine which had an interview with Robert Doornbos. Kosuke is talking about racing in the IRL.

"Robert, it's so scary, I shit my pants every race."

A new quote, Henri Pescarolo about the ACO's LMP1 Evolution ideas.

"People don't want to drive down from Paris and see cars that look like the ones they've overtaken on the motorway."

And I completely agree!

Graham Rahal about Surfers Paradise on the computer.

"Yes, you can drive this track on a video game," he says. "It sounds cheesy, and I am not a video gamer, but the game I go on, you drive it in a V8. So, in a way, I have been on the track.

"The video games are so accurate it is amazing. You get a good idea of the direction of the track and the kerb placement.

"And also, if you select 'Easy' it is pretty easy to beat the rest of the field."

Colin Edwards on the growing influence of electronic rider aids in MotoGP.

"For me the electronics now make it more of a team effort. You got the rider riding the shit out of it anyway, but you got the data guy and the traction control and the torque guy all trying to make the best situation because without those guys I'd be as slow as hell and it is a full team effort."

Ferrari F1 driver Felipe Massa eyesight has got significantly worse during the off season.

"With all the new rules, I was expecting a different type of car, like ten years ago with big wings, so I was surprised. Instead, the new F60 seems tiny - very compact and cute."

I don't think that Massa joke is appropriate anymore. Confused

McLaren team principal, Martin Whitmarsh is really looking forward to the South Korean GP next year.

"We hear stories that it's four or five hours from anywhere and that there's no infrastructure - no hotels, no one can get there."

Formula 1 would never know what hit them after Kyle "Rowdy" Busch came by to win the World Championship.

"I think I'd still be young enough that if I could win a championship by 25, go run Formula 1 for a few years and be back in NASCAR by 28."

Nick Fry knows why Jenson Button jumped ship to McLaren.

"We think he has been badly advised and had his head turned by McLaren's glitzy headquarters."

Alain Prost sums up Kimi Raikkonen.

"He will try to go rallying, but he is a bit lazy, likes to party and drink a little."

What's up with F1 and WOII. First Mosley with his Nazi sex orgy, then Bernie said he liked Hitler and now there's Di Montezemolo...

"In the past the pits was full of good looking girls, now it's like a concentration camp."

This comes from the article in which he talkes about improving F1 and leaving in 2012 if nothing has been done. You better get them girls Todt. Laughing

Marcos Ambrose is very happy with his new sponsor.

"This is really great news. I've always been a big fan of Bush's Baked Beans. Because I love the outdoors, I really enjoying firing up the grill with my family and we always include Bush's Baked Beans as a side item after we finish up grilling with Kingsford Charcoal. It doesn't matter if we are at home or at the track, grilling is a great experience all season long."

Piero Ferrari is already blaming other teams for Ferrari's mistake of not exploiting the rules to their own advantage. Haven't they learned anything from Brawn and Schumacher.

"I expect a Ferrari worthy of the title, unless someone interprets the rules differently."
